Welcome to our website as we explore our Disney memories “Thru the Ears”, past, present, and future!

I am the middle child of another “crazy” Disney Family. We are a family of five: My Mom- Shelly , Dad-Steve, Big Brother-Randy, Little Sister-Stephanie, and there’s Me-Krystle! We are an extremely tightknit family who all share a passion for Disney and the magic that it creates.
I remember growing up and ALWAYS having a Disney Vacation to look forward to. Growing up I always had people question “why do you always go to one place”, “don’t you get bored always going there”, “how can you still have fun”. I always had difficulty answering this question because its almost impossible to explain how ONE place can be so satisfying EVERY time we visit. Most of the time my answer would just be “no I don’t get bored”, “we just enjoy it”, and even “its hard to explain”. The questions didn’t bother me, I really mainly questioned why they care where I go on vacation, I mean what’s it to them?? You see its hard to explain to people exactly why Disney World is such a special place…
My family started going to Disney before I was born, and I have pretty much gone at least once every year of my life. Even through adulthood and having children I still find joy and excitement in a Disney vacation.
When I think of what I appreciate so much about Disney World, its not the rides or attractions that appeal to me the most. It’s the sounds, the smells, the atmosphere, the happiness that surrounds you. I could go into the Magic Kingdom and sit on a park bench on Main Street for hours and be perfectly content with my “Disney Day”. That might make me crazy, but I know when that vacation is over and I am back to the hustle and bustle of everyday life I can close my eyes for a few seconds and go back to that bench.
So why its hard to explain to people why I enjoy Disney World so much, that feeling pretty much sums it up… Now they wont understand and im ok with that. But I know that I truly have a “Happy Place” and in this insane world, that truly gives me great comfort and peace of mind.
SO Thank you MOM and DAD for creating that feeling in me because I truly believe it has helped shape me into who I am today. I can only hope that I can do the same with my children!
Thanks for reading!
